About a year ago as I neared my 82nd year, Stan began my training and under the watchful eyes of Stan, and his colleague Martha, this past year, I have dramatically increased my capacity for cardiovascular exercise on the treadmill while also developing my previously untested capability to do weight training - modest but very useful at my age. Stan and Martha have been my trainers at a time when I needed guidance and support and they has been terrifically supportive. The younger, more accomplished weight mavens at the gym have accepted this older guy with ease, as Stan has created a warm and nurturing gym. The fire has sent me packing - our house burned to the ground - but when I return to Gatlinburg, first stop, after inspection of my former home, will be Stan's super gym. I have thanks to him lost ten pounds I did not need, and I am all the better for it. He welcomes residents and tourists alike.
I've been working out here 5 days a week, for 6 weeks now, and I can honestly say that this gym has everything needed for a complete and complex total body workout.
