As a German conisuer I was looking forward to this place until we were directed up stairs to a tiny whole in the wall with limited menu with hardly any German food on it. They also advertise German and domestic Beer. There were 4 German beer to choose from. They take cash only and the bartender makes everything behind the bar. There is no kitchen! There is no bathroom! Micorwave and Crocpot cooking only.
Small, quaint, cash only German restaurant. Ordered the polish sausage and my boyfriend had their popular rueben, both were pretty good with generous portion. The place only has about 6 tables and the waitress was very attentive. If you don’t have cash, the Donut Friar next door has an ATM.
Don't bother.......... I went with the better reviews and thought this would be pretty good. I was wrong, the prior review claiming the number one kitchen utensil was a microwave wasn't wrong, you can hear it in the background. Brautworst was a ball game hotdog on a hotdog bun.....microwaved......reuben was soft...microwaved.....service was short and dissinterested.....don't bother.....
Was better when original couple owned it. Keep ur bookkeeping and drama at home.

I would recommend this place to everyone! We were just there to grab a quick bite before continuing on our moonshine trip. The server was also the cook, and she was awesome! We wanted to split a sandwich so we thought we would get bad service. But no, she was awesome! If you get a chance, please go!
