Has only a restroom but no showers, also restrictions on food storage. Overall a nice campground to stay in the smokies

All in all a great place to visit.

This is one of the nicest camp grounds that I have ever seen. The layout is open, serene and comfortable. There runs a slow and steady stream though the grounds. The bathrooms are large and clean. The staff was sweet and helpful. In fact that's true for pretty much everyone I encountered. I'll be coming back for sure.

Really enjoyed my stay. I was raining the first night, but with friends and the right camping gear we made out just fine playing cards under our shelter and enjoying the inner sweater provided by good drink. The next day we explored the park and really enjoyed ourselves on a few hikes, enjoying the fall colors. This is certainly a top destination to see fall colors as this area really comes alive, the leaves almost on fire with vibrant hues. Shame about all the fire damage but hopefully with time it will heal to be more beautiful than before.

Beautiful front country campground. The campsites right next to the river is where you should be. Close to Gatlinburg but far enough from mundane civilization to let you wind down and relax.

Only bad thing about this park is how close it is to Gatlinburg and how popular it is. The traffic can become a nightmare at times. Still for being the busiest park it's easier to get around than places like Yellowstone so you can't take too many points off for that.

This campground is amazing. Had water in the back of my camper, so needless to say, I got to listen to it all night, surrounded by trees, friendly people. Great for meditation, my God, it's beautiful. My family and I had an amazing adventure. It's great to unplug from social media and it was nice because you get no cell service whatsoever. Spending quality time together. No hookups. But that's ok. We did days of camping. Generators come in handy! Definitely see ourselves camping at Elkmont again!

Clean, well kept campground and bathrooms. We had a great spot along the creek with plenty of privacy. When our air pump ran out of batteries the kind man at the concession stand blew up our mattress for us! Plenty of trails nearby to explore.
