Best place to stay at. Bathrooms and showers are always clean. They have a creek in the back for you to swim and there are tiny fish that swim around you. Everyone respects the camp rules. Staying here again next vacation.
Back again and loving it. It's crowded and some of the spaces are small but it is a special, unique campground. When locals are camping here you know it must be good. Bring your river tubes during the summer or buy some at the Camp Store. Floating down the river here is the best.
I would say this is the best campground I've ever stayed at. Beautiful and well maintained, with excellent amenities. The tent sites on the island were great and I loved being able to set up camp right by the water. The bath houses were the nicest and cleanest I've seen. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area, in fact this campground alone is a great motivator to return to the Gatlinburg area, and I would recommend this campground to anyone.
What a great campground! Our site was right on the river and it was perfect. The awesome newly remodeled bath house was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful too. They made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us some firewood for the first night. It was late in the season so not a lot of campers when we were here. The free cable and Wi-Fi worked flawlessly and had plenty of bandwidth. They have obviously invested in the infrastructure of the property. Our dogs were welcomed and even had a small fenced area to run off leash. We drove through other nearby campgrounds and we believe Greenbrier is the BEST!
This place is awesome again. I grew up camping here. Was always great if a little dated. New owners did a major upgrade of the whole place. Especially the bathrooms and showers. Great swiming hole. Decent fishing. Playgrounds, games, dog park, pets allowed. Alcohol allowed again discreetly. So nice glad to see somewhere from my childhood made new and better again.
