Ordered steak. I asked to see if the teriyaki sauce was an option (could i leave it off, was told no) which was fine. Also got slaw and seasonal veggies as my sides. Steak was cooked as i asked, slaw was good as well as the broccoli ( broccoli received 5 minutes after rest of my order came) my complaint is that there was so much juice that came with the slaw that the teriyaki flavor on my steak was void. When i cut my steak, it looked like i was using milk as my sauce. I didn't complain, as i know things happen. But there has got to be another way to bring the slaw out with a meal, without taking over the whole dish. I was disappointed. Especially since we paid over $78 for our meal. There's also a female there that i assume is a manager, tall, slim, black shoulder length hair, she does a really good job.
Appetizers are pricey but come out in large portions. Went for lunch and had the jerk chicken. Food came out fast, had a lot of flavor.
Worst service ever in a restaurant. Came in with family of five, was asked to sit at a table for four. The place was practically empty and plenty of larger tables were available. Finally got seated at a table appropriate for our group. The server came to the table and took our drink order and then vanished. Five minutes later she came back with half our drinks and then vanished again. Come to find out a large group that was evidently "family" came in and after about 10-15min she sent another server to our table to take our food order. The whole time our server is at the "family" table chatting it up. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone in Gaitlinburg, especially with all the options in this town.
The athmosphere is good, our server Kendra was great and the food was good, however, this restaurant does try to take you out of the tradiinal Gatlinburg feel and tries to place you in a more beach themed environment. Good for variety if you feel like something different but doesn’t do much justice especially if you’ve been to their Myrtle beach, SC bar and grill.
I'm going to start by saying I'm comparing or was expecting the same kind of bar as the one in Myrtle Beach. The staff was great very friendly and helpful. However we stopped in for a drink expecting a bar, and kinda bar type seating. It is not it's more of a restaurant, the bar is very small in the back corner, every other seat in the place is for the restaurant to be seated by the hostess. But the manager did let us sit at a high top. The drinks are good, but like any themed restaurant they are pricey. For looking at the menu I would say it would be a good lunch or light dinner spot. Don't go there expecting to walk up to a bar and order a drink.
One of the less busy places in Gatlinburg, clearly for a reason. I got the jerk chicken wrap, which I was surprised is a cold sandwich (menu doesn’t specify), wouldn’t have ordered had I known, and there was about 6 bites worth of chicken, mostly tomato and lettuce (see photo). Only ate here bc every other place had long lines.
