The needle is very cool to see and seems to be run at a reasonable cost. We were told it'd be $11 for a trip up during the day and night.
The attached arcade is like any other, pay a lot for some fun and cash in your tickets for overpriced candy. A sham in my opinion but this is what brings some people to arcades! Definitely worth a stop
Ground floor is your basic '80s arcade; includes games, air hockey, billiards and a shooting gallery. Space Needle itself is ok. The view is great but the upper deck needs to be better maintained as there was a large bees nest.
We love to come to the Space Needle. They have a huge game room. We have a 16 year old, 4 year old and a 2 year old...we are always looking for places that can entertain all 5 of us. This is one of our favorite spots. The games always work and if you do have any issues just find an attendant and let them know, they fix the issue immediately.
Went in the evening and on buying our tickets discovered that you could go up twice in a 24hr period. Which was nice as we came the next morning to see the views in daylight. Good value at $10.95 a ticket
Great view as expected. Here are some tips: The elevator that goes to the observation deck is right behind the counter. So, don't go looking for it in the arcade. Next, make sure you get one if the many free coupon books in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge and get $2 dollars off for each adult ticket. You will need a coupon for each adult. Not every free coupon book has the space Needle, so look through the free books and then pick up as many as you need to get all adults a discount.
