Decent motel... We forgot some items after we checked-out of our room and the staff quickly mailed them back to our home for us... Outside of this most appreciative kind act and the extremely friendly staff... There really wasn't anything other than that to speak of.
Rooms are different sizes. Check it out first. The room I stayed in for three nights was a nice size and a balcony. The bathroom was small though. Everything was very clean and bed was comfortable. Good free breakfast with biscuits and gravy. Large heated out door pool. Staff was very friendly. Good location to walk through town.
My sister and I had a 2 night stay in room 359 with a balcony. It was a beautiful room and a wonderful view both day and night. The staff was awesome! The best room I have ever stayed in. We loved it. Beds and pillows were so comfortable.Ty for our stay.
We have been staying at this motel for several years and really like thed motel. The rooms are clean and newly remodeled. Would be nice to have a microwave but overall, a great place to stay. Nice proximity to the Aquarium and trolley hub.
The staff were mostly friendly, including the cleaning staff. The bed was extremely comfortable to both my wife and myself. The hot breakfast was always pretty good, and nothing was every empty when we went to fill our plates. The biscuits and sausage gravy were delicious!
Please understand... These maybe the most important aspects of a stay away from home for us.
The rooms were a bit warm our entire visit but I left the air conditioning unit on a lower temp while we went out during the day to keep it comfortable. I just wish the AC unit was further away from the bed or had directional vent adjustments as the freezing air blows right onto your face and covers during the night.
